Yes, customers who would like to hire a vehicle from Turtlevans must show their full UK or EU driving licence, along with their national insurance number and proof of address. To prove your address, we ask for your past two utility bills; these must be within three months of the date you would like to hire the campervan for.
If you are involved in an accident while hiring one of our campervans, we ask you to inform us as soon as possible. Please ensure that before leaving the site of the incident, you have taken the information of all of those involved, along with photos of vehicles and the road condition.
Of course! A Turtlevans representative will always spend time showing you around your chosen campervan before you leave for your adventure; this includes both the campervan itself and all paperwork. We recommend allowing around an hour for this as it'll ensure that you have plenty of time to ask any questions before setting off.
Included in your hire package will always be a bottle of gas which you are free to use, if you run out however and you need to buy extra, please keep hold of your receipt and we will reimburse the cost.
